Paris-Brest-Paris 2023

Without a doubt the most amazing experience of my short cycling career so far. It wasn't the route, it wasn't the weather, it wasn't the speed, it wasn't the length, it wasn't the duration. It was the people. The sheer amount of volunteers in check points. Always ready to help, make our life easier, get us back on the road faster, take care of us, feed us, fix whatever is broken, direct us to the right places, or just chat and be curious. I've had so many great encounters. On the road side, it was just the same. People with free food stands. Water refill, coffee, rice pudding, crepes, flan, etc. You can't ride 100m in a random village at any time of the day or the night without hearing clapping and encouragement.
