a Corp of Codger's tour

Bob D. and I paralleled Route 31 and the Erie Canal. Along the way, we rode by the model plane airfield in Northampton Park and then past the Brockport Ledgedale Airpark. Our ride went through 5 towns and skirted the western boundary of the Rochester city limit. Heading West into Spencerport on the towpath we passed a young Monroe County Sheriff on a bike in full uniform -nice to see law enforcement on a bike! At Trimmer Road, we took a shortcut off the towpath and headed to Griffs " for some ride recovery refreshments. At Griff's, I sampled a "Stage 10 -very hot pepper ale" -5.1%abv, the barrel dregs were definitely spicy! Then I cooled my pallet with a Pint of the "Brown IPA" -6.8% abv. Felt like I floated back to my house.
