Corner to Corner, Day 42: Tarves to Aberdeen

https://www.cycling4charity.org.uk Good route, apart from 579ft/177m climb then immediate drop though through beautiful countryside. See if I can reduce hills. Photos at the end are from walking in the city.

Tarves' Square. Everyone greeted whom they met by first names. The route went through Pitmedden, where at Pitmedden House there is an ornamental garden and (small) Museum of Farming Life: https://www.nts.org.uk/visit/places/pitmedden-garden

Recording a bit to change, as the gate to Undy Castle, hidden by trees, was locked at the blue dot. Good practice to check routes included in Google Maps' Streetview. This isn't.
