Corner to Corner, Day 12: St Just to Redruth via Land’s End

https://www.cycling4charity.org.uk Lorraine had been to Land's End the previous evening and knew the set up for the traditional photo, which is on a family run plot, costing a minimum of £10.**. Hence the sign included Corner to Corner 4HH. Sad almost to say goodbye to Fiona and Dom at The Post House B&B in St Just. We took some time going taking photos. In the heat, still a long day. Took in the whole of Land's End, even buying a fatty doughnut for the evidence receipt for the End to End Club. Finally getting the redirected Ortlieb in-frame bag, having given the wrong postcode to dear Anisa who ill with Covid ordered it for me, fitted or in the evening. Snug fit. Rear bags a lot lighter, and will be further when without GoPro and bag carrying batteries and charger. Still some climbs pushing the bike but generally smoother. Almost no time to teach Hayle. Next 2 days : tough.

Saying goodbye to Fiona and Dom's genuine hospitality - they only offer what they believe in, rather than catering for every whim.

Self-service offers like this frequented our journey round Britain. This was novel when I photographed it. At a farm east of St Buryan.
Where we stopped for lunch. They don't have signs in all directions as the few they have provide sufficient business for the cafe and pottery. I applied sticky tape to my cycling glasses, preventing the black eye shadow seen in previous photos!
Down a steep drop back into Penzance.
