Corner to Corner, Day 2: Maidenhead to Hungerford

What I love doing most on London to Brixham: full concentration at speed, keeping on track, over roots, rugged ground, around bushes, branches, ducking, moving the body around. Didn't see the turn on the Wahoo Bolt to the first lunch stop, doing the above, so we had it at the super Rowbarge, Woolhampton. This trip reinforces need to minimise load, what to take. Also towpath seems to have been improved so will check with Canal and Rivers Trust, and replace road alternatives with more towpath sections.
In Sonning, should have rung JG before arriving, not after coffee and cake, so we could all meet. See you in October.
After a creamy frappe at Newbury Costa, I accompanied Lorraine to Giant Concept Store for seat measure and new saddle. Bought £18 short winter socks I then wore most of the trip.
Constantly met Amelia and Sara on route, then at hotel. Night at super 3 Swans.
