The Willy Warmer Audax plus to/from the start/finish

Felt like a really tough ride. Great to be riding with Ian Taylor, Bruce Rayfield and a little bit of Andy Kervell at the start before he left us in the dust. Finished a couple of hours later than I thought we would. Dry for most of the ride and started raining as we approached the penultimate control. Chucked it down for the ride home from the finish and highlighted how my rain jacket is completely useless. We lost Bruce somewhere between Amersham and Chesham on the ride home after a ride-ending flat, and Ian had a very tricky time with a cleat that got progressively harder to get out of. But, a great day out with some of the BCC Audax gang. 🫶
