GSB with A - day 7
Najvyšší vrch celej trasy, Babia Hora (1725 m n. m.), máme za sebou. Strmý výstup, veľmi silný vietor a ešte strmší, nekonečne dlhý zostup. S Anetkou sme si dali dlhší deň a došli až do prvej dediny, kde začala poriadna búrka. Ideme regenerovať a nazbierať nové sily.
We have conquered the highest peak of the entire trail, Babia Góra (1725 meters above sea level). A steep ascent, very strong wind, and an even steeper, endlessly long descent. While we were descending, literally hundreds, even thousands of hikers were streaming up from the parking lot on the edge of Babia Góra National Park. At the top, we said goodbye to Vojta, who headed towards the Slovak side, while our trail turned towards Poland. Anetka and I took a longer day and reached the first village where a proper storm began. But we are on our way to a rest day. We’re going to recover and gather new strength. Our first week in the mountains was tougher than we expected. But Anetka was very brave and kept a good mood all the time.
