“After the Combins traverse, I arrived at 2 in the morning back to Bourg-Saint-Pierre, had a 4 hour sleep and left for an easy day, first cycling about 30k to La Fouly. On the way, I met Jules-Henri Gabioud, someone I’ve known from racing and ski mountaineering, who joined me on the ride and told me about a shortcut to go to Val Ferret.
