Alpine Connections - Stage 5: Valais 1

“As it had been raining (and snowing on the summits) the entire afternoon and night before, I left solo at 6:15 in the morning and had another relatively “short” (8:40) day of climbing to make the most out of the conditions. Still, I am used to this “Norwegian” weather that feels just like home, so I managed to summit Dürrenhorn (4034m), Hohberghorn (4218m), Stecknadelhorn (4239m) and Nadelhorn (4327m). On the way down, I stopped to get some food at the Mischabelhütte and ran down to the valley. In total, 23 kilometers and 3246 meters of climbing for 4 more summits and a total of 16 4000 meters since starting the adventure.
