Morning Ride

No real goal today except to get up to graniteville. Headed up through grass valley. Stopped in at the 76 gas station there to grab some supplies. Always friendly in there so is becoming am my go to stop there. Some nice and quiet gravel roads from there. Plenty on climbing and heat. Some cool historic buildings and towns on the way up. Filled up some water at one of them. Had a quick swim to cool off just past graniteville then a quick chat with a couple in a sweet old truck who were excited to see a cyclist. After picking up on my accent they said I had to be from somewhere else because no one from round there would be out on such a hot day. Grabbed a coke at the store in Washington which is a cool little town. Stopped quickly on 20 to swap out to a different stem I wanted to try. Filled up my bottles in Nevada city then zigzagged my way back home. Lifted some heavy things in the garage that was about 2000 degrees inside. Nice loop, great Sunday.
